JAMAICA TURF NOTES Xi:V YORK, N. T.. May 12. Trainer A. B. Gordon and Frank C. Bain left for Louisville for the Derby. Gordon | will saddle H. C. Fishers Swope. Jockey A. Seguin. who rode at Miami, wa an arrival today and will ride the horses of the Victoria Stable. William Daniels Master Charlie, which went wrong two weeks ago, has resumed walking actording to trainer Blakrly, but no effort will be made to put him in training for s mo time. William Knapp plans to open a public training stable at Belmont Park and is on the lookout for suitable material. T. J. Dugan. general manager of the Mount Royal race track, at Montreal, was a visitor today. He arrived from Cleveland and reports plenty of enthusiasm through the Ohio circuit. The Mount Royal meeting opens on May 23, to run seven days. I»u Fisher has purchased the two-year-old Flicker, from Woods Garth and turned her over to N. [* Byer to train. Howard Oots, accompanied by jockey L. McDermott left today for Louisville. Mc-Dermott will ride Almadel in the Derby. Two horses changed hands via the claiming route. J. Rotunda took Otai, from the I Shoshone Stable, for ,000, and G. A. Gold-water took Demijohn, from M. Toel, for 1 ,000.
