CULIACAN is still a maiden, but appears to be improving and may be fortunate enough to earn brackets today. - CHARLIE MURRAY has one win to his credit but seems to have trained off a bit. Should be able to get the place. SHASTA IRISH had some difficulty in untracking herself in the mud her last out but may do better today. SHADY BROOK— SWIFT LADY— LORD YALEXTINE. SHADY BROOKS last two races looked as if he were a little short and they should have done him much good. Expect him to be returned the winner today. SWIFT LADY has been racing in improi-d form and should prove dangerous. LORD VALENTINE is about due for one of his good races. BEMORECAREFUL— PLEXTYCOOS— LAMSTEDT. The former Bradley racer, BEMORECAREFUL, has been racing in a manner to suggest that he should now be ready for a winning race. PLENTYCOOS, on recent races, is given the preference for the place. LAMSTEDT revels in the mud, and should be the one to get the third money. BOOXEYLLLE— PETER PIERSON— CADMUS. BOONEVILLE is able to show to advantage over any kind of going and is expected to be the winner in this number. PETER PIERSON was a little short in his last race but may do better today. CADMUS is the one liked for third. BAGGAGE KIXG— THE GAFF— GEORGE STARR. Irwin has BAGGAGE KING in winning form right now and he appears the most likely winner on the card today. Whatever contention is given the victorious one should come from THE GAFF, a winner in his last start. GEORGE STARR also won his last race and may prove dangerous. CLERMONT JR.— PRINCESS DARRELL— CYTHEREA. CLERMONT JR. recent races have been good ones and he should now be ready for a winning race. PRINCESS DARRELL failed : miserably in her last start but should do better today. CYTHEREA has yet to win ■ a race, but her chances look good for getting the small end of the purse here. CROSS BOW— IXCITOR— BROWN SKIN. CROSS BOW can sprint or go a distance a and looks like the best play in this race. IXCITOR has been doing well in his recent r races and may turn the trick should CROSS BOW j fail. BROWX SKIX showed a good performance | his last race and looks good for l the show end. MEDDLING SETH— DICK TERFIX— DOCTOR TUBES. Picking the winner in this race is quite a J task and the preference is given MEDDLING £ SETH. He lost a close race to Miss Omond last I Tuesday and the same race here would . see him the winner. DICK TERP1N runs ■» well at time, but he is just a little partial to l firm footing. DOCTOR TUBBS finally scored a win in his last race, but he is not a a repeater. Should get the small end of the E purse.
