■ — ♦ PURSE TAKEN FROM MACBETH BOWIE, lid., April 8.— The protest which was filed by T. J. Donohue against F. H. Smiths Macbeth for not carrying his proper weight yesterday was allowed by the stewards and Macbeth forfeited the purse. The official finish was as follows: Eyelash. Courser and Sea Sand. The disqualification of Macbeth does not affect the wagers which were paid off according to the original finish.
