STEWARDS OF JOCKEY CLUB Fail to Take Any Action in Case of Jockey L. M. Fator and Clarence Kummer. NKW YORK. N. Y.. April 27.— The stewards I of The Jockey Club, meeting on the eve of the opening of the local racing season which takes place " at Jamaica today, tabled the applications of two trainers for licenses, granted a number of applications of both trainers and jockeys and failed take- any action on the cases of Lester Mark Fator and Clarence Kummer. The applicants for trainers licenses who j failed to ohtain favorable action were- Y. j Constantine. who has been handling the horses of C. P. and G. C Winfrey, as well as : some of his own, and W. B. Finnegan. who! has been training for Mrs. P. J. Lavin. C. E» Darnell and S. Lando during the winter. As usual, no reason was made public for the tabling of these applications It was generally anticipated that the application of Clarence Kummer for a jockey | license, which was tabled at the last meeting of the stewards, would be granted at tedays mee-ting but no actios was taken in this e-ase. The application of the younger Fator also failed to receive further consideration.
