BOUNM BOX l»cgan slowly, but finished fast and passed the tiring IRISH SMILE in the stretch. The latter set a fast early pace, but gave way in the stretch. RRICE at once took the lead with a rush and drew away on the back stretch, then saved ground on the last turn and held his lead gamely when PEDDLER challenged in the stretch. The latter raced in closest pursuit for the entire race and finished gamely. ST. JOHN worked his way up on the outside and came wide while rounding th- last turn, but finished fast.
