| AKRON TURF NOTES AKRON, Ohio, May 7. The halter men were again active. J. A. Parsons claimed Wise Guy out of the third race for 00. P. Dwyer, who bad an open claim took Brass Band, winner of the fifth for Jl.lou. O. F. Jenkins secured Rock of Ages out of the sixth race on his claim for ,600. For rough riding in the second race Thursday, jo key Saucier and Anderson were suspended for the remainder of the meeting. H. K. Brown today sold the contract of the apprentice Jockey S. Trenchard to the Four-Oaks Stock Farm. Carl Drain Chanced his plans and will ship the extensive string in his charge to Mount KoyaL Phil Reuter will ship from here to follins-ville taking along jockey W. Rausser whose foot was causing him pain ami he was removed to an hospital to have an X-ray taken of the injured member.
