NEW ORLEANS SPORT SAFE No Danger of AntiRacing Legis ¬ lation During Current Session of Louisiana Law Makers NEW ORLEANS La May 13 It can be said without fear of contradiction that thor ¬ oughbred racing in the state of Louisiana is not in danger of a legislative death or taxation for at least another year yearFrom From unusually reliable and authoritative sources there comes the information that no racing legislation of any kind will be intro ¬ duced during the current session of the law creating body bodyIt It had been reported that the representa ¬ tive Fernandez of Orleans Parish and T W Holloman of Rapides would at yesterdays session introduce antiracing measures Neither however materialized materializedRepresentative Representative Hollman vehemently denied the rumor that he contemplated intro ¬ ducing an antiracing bill while Representa ¬ tive Fernandez explained his failure to offer his measure by saying that after a consulta ¬ tion with othor members of the Orleans delegation he vis convinced that the time was not ripe for the introduction of such legislation
