RESULTS AT ROYAL ASCOT 8PBCCAL CABLEGRAM LONDON, Knsland. June l.V — Ascot opened today in bright sunshine. King Ceorge and Queen Mary, according to time-honored custom, were present. The Trial Stakes was won by Bulger, the favorite by a margin of three lengths. Tenacity saved second place by a head from Hurnside. Bulger was at 7 to 2. Miss Sport, a selling plater, accounted for the Ascot Stake* from atalin, with Tourne-sol in third place Miss Sport won by a neck and Catalan, on which Steve Donoghue had the mount, was si nd l tlin ■■■ parts of a length from TAoameeot Knight of the Grail won the Coventry Stakes from Cay Cordon, with Mowbray in third place. The winner was at 10 to 1 in the wagering, lie won by six lengths. High Alt captured the Ascot Cold Vas by a length from Mistlcy. with Boa Grace thlrdi High Art was at M to 1. Colorado was cx-pectei to start in the Queen Mary Stake.s but was withdrawn, ixird Astors Book Law, an odds-on choice at 1 to C, made good by defeating I x and Indus.
