V — — I OMAHA TURF NOTES ; OMAHA, Xeb., June 23. Judge F. W. Ashe received word from Julius Reeder today stating that the widow of C. J. Brockmiller, who passed away on Monday, is in dire circumstances and any financial help from her husbands former friends and associates would be appreciated. Mr. Reeder is in charge of the fund and states that he has already received many contributions. Jockey F. Taylor was injured when Coach Whip, a bad acting horse, fell with him on the way to the post in the first race. The horse was ordered scratched and the money which had been wagered on him was refunded. Taylors injuries are not of a serious nature. M. Shores claimed John Hoshor out of the second race today for ,000. The horses of C B. Irwin will be shipped to heeniie. Wvo. at the conclusion of this meeting and rested up for next wint. is racing at Tijuana.
