WESTERN CANADA RACING OMAHA, Neb., June 23. — George W. Schilling, who serves as presiding steward on the Western Canadian circuit, was an arrival from Winnipeg yesterday. Judge Schilling .states that the meetings held so far in the prairie provinces have been better than ever, and that on the closing day at Polo Park, Winnipeg, close to a quarter of a million dollars passed through the machines despite the inclement weather which prevailed on that day. Judge Schilling will leave for Winnipeg tomorrow to take up his duties at Whittier Park, which opens Saturday. June 2t». a. —
