JOLLY ROGER, well ridden, followed the early leader closely and was forced back on the far turn when SAINT PANCRAS swerved over, then passed the leaders when called on in the second turn of the field and stumbled at the fourteenth jump, but recovered quickly and. passing GASPER, ■won going away. GASPER raced under restraint until called on. then moved up fast going to the twelfth jump, but tired near the end. GUN BOAT ran a good race all the way.
