The I.a Brae Stables Moonraker. which was reported to have gone badly amiss in the running of the Crainger Memorial Handicap at Churchill Downs and was sent to Dr. C. C. Canns farm to be retired, is showing rapid recovery and is nt as badly affected as was at first supposed. The Kenton Farm Stables Alpin. stricken last week with pneumonia, is showing signs of improvement, and the attending veterinarian believes the colt is now out of danger. The final condition hook of the I.atonia meeting was distributed today. II. C. Bedwell departed Thursday night for Fairmount lark. E. J. Hollands Margate, which was bred to Best Pal at S. N. Holmans farm near Georgetown, arrived at Iitonia Thursday to rejoin the stable, which is being handled by D. T. Morris. R. A. Kairhairn of New York and master of Fair Holme Farm, near Winchester. Ky.. is spending a few days at J-atonia. Jockeys I. Dubois and M. Skyrm. after Serving a ten das suspension, resumed saddle work this afternoon. Trainer W. Buford arrived from Aurora with the horses Wrack Ray, Nivlag and Mejuity, the property of John Koors. J. J. Troxlers fleet King Nadi is a certain starter in the Frontier Handicap, to he run at Windsor during the meeting opening then next week.
