KENTUCKY TURF NOTES T ; -4 The stable of Meehan Brothers of Ironton, Ohio, is an arrival in Louisville frcm Miami. The Meehan outfit, which came in charge of trainer G. W. Googe, consisted of The Engineer, Flying Cloud, Xann and Pandy. Looney and Nell Jo, also owned by Meehan brothers, and which have been turned out since last fall, will be shipped here to join the stable. Meehan brothers, who embarked in racing only last summer, have been singularly successful. All their horses were winners at the Miami meeting. The EL T. Archibald h rses, which only recently arrived at Churchill Downs from Miami include Candy Kit, Flying Torch. Black Flm and Fveranaday, all of whu h will shortly be sent to the H. N. Davis farm to be turned cut. T. P. Hayes arrived from Lexington with the three-year-olds Crooked Work and Speedwell and eight good-looking two-year-olds. Five horses belonging to the Crescent Stable which wintered at the Merrick Place Farm of Cal Milam have reached here. They included Kentucky Cardinal and Gibbons, both of which were fired last fall, and Realtor. G. F. C. and Boca Raton. Jockey F. Maguire. who rode with some success on the Kentucky tracks last season, will ride this year for the stable of Lon Jones.
