I HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES! € HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 29. Wm. Maher, the Miami sportsiman, in whose colors the pood three-year-old Flyhawk runs, was an arrival. Mr. Maher was a resident of Far Roekaway for many years, where he was engaged in business before he became an adopted son of Florida. The Maher horses, which are being handled by O. E. Pons, will be shipped from here to Toronto. G. R. Bryson reports that the foal by •Sedgefield — Adonia died at the Lemoss Farm yesterday. M. Lynch, who at one time was one of starter Oassidys assistants, announced that he would again do the starting on the Pennsylvania fair circuit next fall. Lynch has been doing the starting at the New York fairs for the past eleven years and is ratt il as one of the best flag vie!ders on the smaller circuits. J. B. Campbell, who is associated with the Maryland Jo key Club, was at Havre de Grace this morning soliciting entries for the opening day at Iimlico. Word was received from Hamilton. Canada, of the death of Thomas Boyle, father of Harvey and Simpson Boyle. The deceased died at his home in Hamilton and interment will be on Saturday. A. G. Westons good three -year-old Jopagan has been nominated to the important fixtures on the Canadian circuit. The colt will !» shipped to the Woodbine course at the conclusion of the Pimlieo meeting. F. A. Tansor secured the good plater Over Fire via the claiming route for ,000 out of the seventh race Thursday.
