Won easily; second and third driving. , SHASTA LOVE was close up from the start to the stretch and, saving ground where possible, passed SIEG M ARGON in the last fifty yards and won going away. The latter set a good pace to the last eighth, then began tiring and was unable to withstand the winner. FALLEN LEAF raced in close up pursuit of the leader and lasted to outstay BOBBY JONES. The latter raced forwardly, but came wide when entering the stretch, then came again at the end. TRIFLE closed a gap while saving ground on the inside all the way. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. CLEORA showed the most speed all the way, but tired fast when inside the last eighth and barely lasted to win. LADY WELCOME quickly closed a big gap in the first half and, finishing with a great rush, barely missed getting up. LILA G. had no mishaps and, coming fast near the end, outfinished SP1KELET. The latter raced forwardly to the stretch and tired at the end. FAIR LOTTA was seriously interfered with by LILA G. when approaching the stretch turn. SPANISH STAR improved her position steadily on the ontside and finished gamely for econd place. AAOOD FAIRY was a forward contender all the way and ran out badly in the final drive, but raced well to the end. GOLDEN G. saved ground where possible by racing on the outside. BETTY BROAVNING began fast, but was shuffled back in the first quarter, then closed a gap in the stretch and outfinished GAINESWOOD in the last stride. The latter raced forwardly and well to the end. The latter raced close up and challenged repeatedly from the head of the stretch, but was unable to quite get up. DR. CARDENAS raced forwardly throughout and was running gamely at the finish. SEA ROCKET was taken back after going the first quarter, then came fast in the fiunl three-sixteenths. MARTHA AVASIIINGTON tired. MAZETTA set the pace for a half mile and was done. ALBORAK also closed up much ground in the stretch. SPATS ran well to the stretch and .tired. TAKE A CHANCE showed early speed, but also quit in the stretch. GOLDPIECE quit. TIPPITY AAITCIIET raced under restraint for three-quarters, then began gaining on the outside aud got up near the end to outgame POAADER. The latter was a forward contender all the way and finished gamely. GLORIA QUAYLE had no mishaps. AVRACKHORN tired. BECKY SUE was away poorly. FORE LADY quit.
