PREPARING AURORA TRACK Rain Interferes with Work on Exhibition Park Course — Tijuana Special Due. AURORA. III.. April 5. — General manager Cliff Trimble had a force of men working on the track at Exposition Park up to noon Wednesday. when lain interrupted and brought a cessation of activities. Horsemen are taking things easy with their charges, as the majority have raCLd at the winter tracks and will be more benefited by a rest than any extensive training program. Only light exercise gallops are necessary to keep these horses on edge. The special from Tijuana is expected late today or tomorrow. Among the horses on the grounds are those of Jake Holtman. who brought here from New Orleans Silver Queen. Happy New Year. Hamburg I.ady, Quick Asset and Bill Hannah. O. L. Foster is another that came from the Crescent City, bringing Theo. Fay. Ritter. Burk-dale, Floy Lillie. Miss Foster, Faster Hat and African Mint. J. L. Paul has a bakers dozen which will be ready for the local racing. They include Lady ONeil. Rimple, Carom. Stutts. Marges Mate. Herendeeti. Mischief, Old Boss. Lukes Joy. Geo. K. Allen. Sea Hawk and two unnamed fillies. . * .
