R. J. NASHS RACING PLANS Chicago an Visitor at Churchill Downs — J. B. Partridge in Charge of Four Juveniles. LOUISVILLE. Ky., April 5— Senator Hughes, author of the Lager bill which legalized pari-mutuel betting in Illinois, accompanied by Patrick Nash and R. J. Nash, both well known citizens of Chicago, was a recent visitor at Churchill Downs, the party coming for the purpose of inspecting the four two-year-olds that J. B. Partridge is training for R. J. Nash. The latter is a newcomer to the ranks of thoroughbred owners and his colors will be carried for the first time at Churchill Downs and later on at the Chicago tracks. The four youngsters, which were purchased as yearliiiRs last spring from B. A. Jones by Nash, wintered at New Orleans, but did not race at either of the Crescent City tracks. They are well advanced in their training and are among the best looking juveniles at Churchill Downs. The list includes Marshal Seth, Bay colt, by Seth — Keep Moving ; Christie Flanigan, bay colt, by Seth — Pickaninny ; Mary Seth, bay filly, by Selh — Tze Lsi. and Nancy Seth, bay filly, by Seth — Miss Waldo. Keep Moving is the dam of Captain Seth, a winner of fourteen races out of seventeen starts. Tze Lsi is a daughter of Fair Empress, the dam of Pxterminator. Miss Waldo is a daughter of Waldo, strong ante-post favorite for the 1910 Kentucky Derby, but which did not start owing to an injury he sustained while being worked out about ten days prior to the running of the race.
