TO EVA closed a gap after being forced wide. PLAY FLOWER was crowded back. COLONEL ] KAGE raced into the lead quickly and, setting a fast pace, kept it to the finish. TRAPPY raced in closest pursuit of the winner throughout and lost ground on the stretch turn, but finished gamely. COMPLICATION was taken up shortly after the start, then came wide on the last turn, but finished fast. HE STILL also finished fast. HIGH HOPE raced well. The others were always outpaced. TESTER was outrun for the first half mile, but worked his way up rapidly on the inside, then finished fast and headed SHORT PRICE in the final sixteenth. The latter set a fast pace and drew away from GOLDEN VOLT after going five-eighths, but tired in the final drive. ECCLID was always close up and raced gamely to the end. GOLDEN VOLT showed speed and ran a good race. ZUKKR raced well. MYRA M. showed speed in the early running.
