: TO RACE AT BEULAH PARK LOIISVIELE, Ky., April 5.— Forced to make a stop in Eouisville while en route by motor from New Orleans to Columbus by the breaking of an axle, Gene Eutz took the opportunity to pay a visit to Churchill Downs while his car was receiving the necessary repairs. Eutz reported that the main portion of his stable had been shipped from New Orleans to Columbus, Ohio, where they will be made ready for the spring meeting at Beulah Park. The list includes Petruchio, Mrs. Hoga:i, Besom. Grapestone, Storeaway, Sunday Clothes, Eady Shaw, Bavelle Fronk, Rill and Silver Spoon, the last named being the property of "Pa" Stribling. The horses May Fly, Thor, Dr. MacMillan and Commissioner Eishmann II., in training at the Lexington track which are the property of Mr. Eutz, will be sent to Columbus to join the other horses of the stable. Eutz has anumber of promising apprentices that will ride for him this season. They are Will Bonner of St. Louis and Floyd Brown, a Cincinnati youth. Mr. Lutz stated that the mare Naughty Nisba, a winner of many races in the Lutz colors, had been sent to Lexington to be bred to Bunting. He also reported that Barbara Palmer, one of his most useful racers, had succumbed to illness at Jefferson Park about a week before he left the southern city. The mare was sick when unloaded at the Shrewsbury track last fall and never recovered. She was by Manager Vaite — Miss Bellamy, being bred by Major T. C. McDowell, who sold her as a yearling to Mr. Lutz for ,500. Mr. Lutz is planning to ship to Aurora after the Columbus meeting, and from there to Fairmount Park, winding up the season J at the Latonia fall meeting.
