i j ] | | ; , j ; j | , ; BUYS MARE ETHEL DEAR BALTIMORE, Md., April 2u.— W. Dang-man. who is associated with J. K. Newman of Westchester, Penn., who has recently gone into the breeding industry, purchased for his employer the well-bred mare Ethel Dear. She was transferred by van to the R. W. Walden farm at Middleburg, Md., and goes to the court of the French stallion Mac-Kenzie. The Newman farm at Westchester comprises some 366 acres, and many improvements are being made on the place. Dangman has already secured eight mares and contemplates purchasing about twenty more. He has also asked for a price on the stallions MacKenzie, Waygood, Whiskaway. American Flag and In Memoriam. The plans are to purchase three stallions.
