SIGNS TRAINER SCHELKE TORONTO. Ont., April 20 — It is learned that the Thorncliffe Stable has secured that capable trainer, Fred Schelke for the coming season. Fred was with the stable for a number of years, winning the Kings Plate for them in 1922 with South Shore, while In 1923 he was third with Trail Blazer, and in 1921 second with Thorndyke, the latter being beaten by Maternal Pride.
