t CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES f t $ LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 22. The Jay Stables Comrade and W. H. Halls Abstract have gone amiss and will be turned out. Jockey. H. Gray, after serving a suspension of ten days for rough riding, resumed riding Monday afternoon. Clyde Van Dusen returned from B weekend visit to Aurora, where he has been inspecting the horses he has campaigned there. The stable of Johnson N. Camden is to be reduced by the sale at public auction in the Downs paddock Friday of the horses Tan-gram, Rambo, Vachell, Vendeuse, Yale, Warbler and Euonymous. It. J. Bolton has been licensed as a trainer and George Brooks authorized as agent for Edward Cebrian. The stable of J. Spencer has been shipped from Lexington to Arlington Park. The Joliet Stables horses, brought here from Aurora last week, have been returned to that track. Jockey H. Hutton, under engagement to P. T. Chinn and in the employ of R. J. Gil-more, is an addition to the Downs racing colony. J. Lowenstein has obtained first call on the services of jockey F. Chiavetta and the latter will accompany the stable of the former to Arlington Park. The initial issue of conditions to prevail for the racing during the first eight days of the Latonia spring meeting, which opens Tuesday, June 5, was distributed here this morning. Program books for the final seven days of the Churchill Downs meeting also came out today. E. E. Mooar today purchased at private terms the half interest of J. A. McEntee in the horses Baritone, Flashes and Smiling Betty.
