The latler began slowly and was forced to race on the outside, but finished resoiutcly when clear. LEN SAVEEP showed early speed, but tired after going a half mile. GANGSTER began slowly and finished fast. TROY MISS raced well throughout. SHOWERY raced close up for a halt mile and tired. NEAV SCOTLAND showed early speed and was not persevered with when he tired. AVon easily: second and third the same. AVYCH ELM took an easy lead at the sixth jump and. increasing it. won eased up. MANIFOLD raced close up, was put to a drive on the last turn of the field, but could not reach the winner. BLACK PEPPER jumped well, but was outpaced TI.E KEEL galloped tilong far back. JINCI E. poorly ridden, was rushed at all of the jumps, made repented blunders and fell at the thirteenth jump. ENDLESS was pulled up after taking the sixth jump when his stirrup irons broke. TOMMY FOSTER raced close up from the start, raced SPHERICITY into defeat and, taking a slight lead, held it resolutely and outfinished LANNIE. The latter began fast and lacked early speed, but came 011 the outside and finished fast and barely failed to get up. SARATOGA MAJE was taken back repeatedly in the early running and came fast through the stretch. GYMKHANA raced close up and finished well. COLLARVICTORIA ran a good race. TETRA GLASS made a rush while rounding the last turn, but tired. BLOOMTIP ■howed speed for a half mile. The others were always outrun. HOROLOGE, always close np, made a game challenge after entering the home stretch and passed FEROZEPUR, but could not reach the winner. SLICE raced close up throughout and finished gamey. DONETTA Buffered from parly interference and closed a big gap. FEROZEPUR quit badly after leading for seven-eighths. DE-RONDA was caught in a jam soon after the start and was knocked back.
