LANN1E raced dose up from the start and, coming fast through the stretch, got up to win in the last few stiides.- GYMKHANA raved in close pursuit of the lenders and took a slight lead in the final eighth, but could not withstand the winners rush. LADDIE BUCK began fast and lacked early speed, but worked his way up gamely and finished fast. BELLARION made a rush after entering the home stretch and was going fast at the finish. FERRY OF FATE raced BLOOMTIP and BREVET into defeat early, then took a long lead, bnt began tiring fast in the last quarter and had to be hard ridden to outfmish ICHITARO. The latter was far back in the early running, but moved up with a rush after entering the home stretch and drew up on almost even terms with the winner, but tired badly. l.I.OO.MTII showed the most early speed and saved ground on the turns, but tired. MISS GAIETY II. was always outrun, but outgamed the tiring BREVET. The latter ran a good three-quarters and tired. Scratched— 249C5 Duchess, 111. Overweight — Bloomtip, 1 pound. The latter raced on the outside throughout and, finishing gamely, was wearing the winner down lapidly. THICKLY HEAT, caught in close quarters while going to the first turn, got clear and finished fast. DIOEU8 raced into the lead while under restraint and showed fine ■peed, but tired in the last quarter. LOOM raced fairly well. AUCILLA tired after going five-eighths. CHARLES H. quit. DONETTA, away well, outran her opponents rounding the far turn, but tired fast when put to a drive. FRAULEIN showed speed, and finished strongest of all at the end. WAMPEE followed the leaders closely and was forced to go to the outside when he made his move, but finished fast in the last three-eighths and in a hard drive wore KEYDET down to get up in the last few strides. KEYDET raced past the eariy leaflets! to take command, saved ground and hung on gamely at the end. DILEAS GU BRATH was under restraint in the early stages, made his move after the half-mile post, but was not good enough. He crossed over on ATWOOD when entering the home stretch and caused the latter to be taken up sharply. ATWOOD was racing well when he was knocked off his stiide.
