r~BELM0NT PARK NOTES t * — 1 NEW YORK, N. Y., June 2. The Aqueduct race track was turned over to the students of Public School 108 today for their annual field day. Upward of 4,000 children participated in the different games. Crusader, was laid up for a -while with a filled leg:, which has returned to normal, and he will be continued in racing this year. The Greentree Stable has taken second call on the services of the English steeplechase rider George Duller. He will ride Jolly Roger in the Corinthian Steeplechase today. Fred Barlow claimed Murzim from W. J. Salmon out of the final race Thursday for ,000. J. Bethel accepted his first mount in th6 fifth race today. He is under contract to Louis Feustel. John Loftus reported that twelve of his horses wore on the ailing list with different minor ailments. r Gifford A. Cochran has been named to serve as the third steward at the Aqueduct meeting. Gwyn Tomkins has signed F. J. Baker to do his riding for the Brookmeade Stable. Elston was in the employ of the stable, but 1 was released to journey to the Middle West in search of more employment.
