BRAZEN alternated in the lead with FLAHERTY for three -qua! ters and finally racing the latter into defeat finished gamely. HERENDEEN raced close up and outf iiiished TANN1E MAY in a long drive. FANNIE MAY snved ground on the turns and had no mishaps. MARY O. raced gamely. FLAHERTY showed much speed to the stretch and quit.
