ENGLISH STAKE WINNER SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. LINGFIELD, England, June 2.— Arctic Star, by Achti — Skyprcs, won the Cosmopolitan Cup, at two mile and a quarter, here yesterday by one length from Kinchinjunga. Alacrity was beaten six length for second place. There were nine starters, with Arctic Star the favorite, at 7 to 4. 1 le was ridden by Sirett and carried 110 pounds. Kinchinjunga and Alacrity each carried 109 pounds. The I going was hard.
