$, — Arlington Parks Farewell Feature ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 29.— Despite the certainty of a heavy and difficult track prevailing at Arlington Park on Saturday, a field of twelve good performers are named to start in the initial running of the Turf and Field Handicap, over the route of a mile and an eighth, which important stake fixture will upply a brilliant feature on the closing day of the National American ockey Clubs spring meeting. Due to the unfavorable track conditions, quite a number of the star racers are absentees. With few exceptions all those named overnight are partial to racing in the mud and can display creditable performances over a heavy track. In all probability there will be a coup e of withdrawals, but these will not affect the com-1 "exion of the field j r.ny great extent. Based on ten starters, the gross -alue of the stake will be 8,760, of hich the winners net portion will be a little over 4,000.
