Won driving: second and third the same. , TROY MISS, Blow to settle into her stride, gained fast after going the first half mile, then, saving J ground when entering the home stretch, withstood WAFFLES near the end. but was hard ridden in the final drive. WAFFLES, prominent from the start, moved into the lead when approaching the stretch turn . and. being hard ridden, held on well. CURDLE moved up resolutely when entering the home stretch and finished gamely. SUNSWEPT showed a good effort. SUN AGNES quit badly. FERSETH was hard ridden throughout, but was not good enough. AZIZ Improved his josition steadily on the inside and. finishing well, made a vain effort to reach the winner*. THE TOP, slow to start and outrun in the early racing, worked his way up around the outside to close with good courage. PRANCING, away well, appeared to labor in the goiug. WILLOW tired after a half. HEARTACHE moved away into a long lead soon after the start and, being rated along until reaching the stretch, where she had to be shaken up to stall off FRIEDA L. The latter, in closest pursuit throughout, finished fast end was wearing the winner down at the end. KING CHARLES, outrun for the first five-eighths, worked bis way up fast and closed gamely. SIN ALIOS was not hurried when passed by WANDERING MINSTREL, remained close to the inner rail, but tired after regaining the lead. MILARIA was forced wide at the first turn and was kept under pressure throughout and held on well. WANDERING MINSTREL was rushed into tbe lead, but tired when the final drive came.
