8 -and BASHF0RDJVIAN0R STAKES LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 29.— As the feature of an exceptionally attractive Memorial Day program, Churchill Downs will offer the twenty-eighth running of the Bashford Manor Stakes for two-year-old colts and geldings. The race at five-eighths attracted a field of fifteen that includes practically all the outstanding masculine youngsters among the 142 eligibles.
