OMAR-FLO had the advantage of the shirt and, saving much ground throughout, held the others safe and won well in hand. RLTH LONG began slowly, but moved into prominence with a rush and held on gamely during the final drive. ROSE JAR began fast, but lost ground by racing wide. PANIVANA closed a good gap in the 6tretch. AVARICE had to race wide and came steadily. ANNAMATION swerved out badly on the turns. BARONNE was caught in a jam soon after the start. MISS ROSEDALE. showing the most speed, raced into a good lead soon after the start, but had to be ridden hard near the end to outstay FLYING TORCH. The latter came steadily through the stretch aud was going fastest at the end. NE ERMORE raced as if best of the others and saved much ground at the stretch turn. GLEE moved up fast after going half a mile, but tired in the last sixteenth. FORE STAR was close up most of the way. 1IENGIST was forced back on the first turn and forced to race wide to the stretch, where he saved much ground and finished gamely. The latter had to overcome interference, but came fast when clear and would have won in a few more strides. WAR GRAIL came from far back in the last half mile.
