NINE WINS FOR G. COLLINS I His Well Balanced Stable Heads List in Aurora Meeting. * A. G. Tarn and Irwin Company Among Leaders in the Financial Column— Ayraud Hides 13 Winners. ♦ George Collins exhibited the best-balanced stable that took part in the Aurora meeting, the fitness of his several Thistles and other useful platers serving to give him a good margin in owners winnings at the end of the Exposition Park spring season. Collins total was ,392. Only one other winner amassed more than ,000. Collins winnings were contributed to by nine horses. Eight won one race each and the ninth, Hesitation, won two. These winners were Frank Hawley, Lincoln Plaut, Thistle Ann. Thistle Fyrn, Thistle Coot, Thistle Jean, Shasta Lad and Lane Allen. A. G. Tarn won as many races but was not so many times in the second and third columns. Some of his winners were Cobbie Doyle, Dr. Clark, Wildrake. San Carlos and Canaque. His total was ,325. Mrs. C. B. Irwin, owner of the Irwin Live Stock and Show Company, was the only othjr to realize more than ,000. Dunbeath, Taddy-wawa and Shampoo were her chief reliance. Dunbeath won three races. Isoard, belonging to Mrs. W. D. Bernhardt, accounted for more money than any other one horse at Aurora. His three victories and a second and third were good for a total of ,275. Mrs. Bernhardt had one other winner, Mary Virginia. Dunbeath and Isoard were the only horses that .won three races and those that won two each were : Captain Applejack, Common Gold, Don Fernando, Fortunate Mann, Foxy Seth, Go Away, Hesitation, Honeyfish, Lady Partridge, San Carlos. Sandy Hatch, Taddywawa and Temps D Amour. R. Ayraud rode thirteen winners, one more than J. Leyland, who had more mounts. J. Parmalee made a good showing, riding eleven winners out of a total of fifty-two mounts. There was a total distribution of 21,425 during Auroras nineteen-day meeting, a daily average of ,390.
