SMITHS ANKLE INJURED NEW ORLEANS. La., April 2. Jockey J. Smith, stable rider for Colonel E. R. Bradley, departed Friday for the farm. The boy suffered an injured ankle during the running of the Derby Trial at the Fair Grounds and has been out of the saddle for the past six weeks.
