MASTER STAR, prominent all the way. finished gumely under punishment through the stretch and would have won in another stride. RUMOR gradually improved his position -well out from the inner rail to finish fast. BELLI CASUS began slowly, lacked speed in the early racing, but closed a big gap in the last quarter mile and finished going fastest of all. BROWN KRIX raced greenly and showed good speed at times : in the first half mile, but tired at the end. TRICKY COLOXEL raced extremely wide throughout. FAST LIFE worked his way through between the leaders and. when straightened out in the stretch, wore BROAD A. down in the last strides. The latter, forced to race wide all the way, lost much ground. She finished gamely under : punishment but bore out slightly the final fifty yards. NORMA COXLOX displayed good early speed but then faltered in the stretch run. KOSEAOLT finished well. The latter, a contender throughout, finished fast, but was unable to overhaul the winner. MATINS MINISTER gradually improved his position on the outside to finish with a belated rush. MAXIVA, shuffled back after the start and far back in the early stages, gained steadily in the final three-eighths on the inside and disposed of RUXDALE in the last sixteenth. The latter, a factor throughout, made a game challenge entering the stretch, but tired as if short. MARY McNEIL moved up fast around the lower turn, but iuit as if short in the stretch. MASTER SAVEEP, used up racing MANAGER EVERS and IMMORTAL into defeat in the early stages, faltered in the final eighth, but held JACK IIAAVKSLKY safe at the end. CHATTAHOOCHEE, off forwardly, was forced to pull up sharply when the winner crossed in front of her. followed in closest pursuit the remainder of the race, but was unable to improve her position. Frye lodged a claim of foul, but it was not allowed. MAINSHEET gradually worked Ids way forwardlv on the outside and wore HIGH LIFE down in the closing strides. The latter saved much ground entering the stretch and finished stoutly. LEOXARDEAU and CUDGELLER tired slightly in the stretch.
