GENERAL DISKIN DEAD SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 9. Marvin Allen reports the death of his stallion General Diskin, at San Ysidro Stock Farm, near San Diego. General Diskin succumbed from infection after a throat operation. Allen bred General Diskin to a number of mares this spring. Recently there arrived at the San Ysidro Farm, a colt by imported Axenstein, from Hester Ann, and a filly by Ladkin, from Polythia and therefore a close relative to Enoch.
