g RANCOCAS RACING STRING Main Division Numbering 29 Head Now Quartered at Belmont Several Derby Prospects. NEW YORK, N. Y., April 9. The main division of the Rancocas Stable, in charge of trainer John Lowe, numbering twenty-nine head, are safely quartered in one of the big stables at Belmont Park. Lowe had his charges out for exercise over the training track this morning. The horses recently arrived from the farm at Jobstown, N. J., and shipped up in splendid condition. The horses are all home-breds the offspring of sires and mares which in the past were raced by their breeder, Harry F. Sinclair. Lowe is not over-enthusiastic over his charges but he has always been regarded by horsemen as a very conservative man. "Several of the three-year-olds have been named for the Preakness and Derby. I dont know at this moment whether they are horses of that caliber or not. I raced during the winter, and really have not a good line on them. However, they will be started at Jamaica, or maybe I might start one or two at the hunts meeting," stated the trainer. The older horses in the stable are all three-year-olds: Houssain, Simba, Grattan, Limbus, Labor, Mei Foo, Grey Watch, Patroness, Khara, Zeal and Capture. Grattan and Labor are, in his opinion, his main reliances for the more important races. Jockey Laverne Fator, who wintered at his home at Saratoga, reported to the stable at Jobstown, X. J. Fator is fit to ride. He enjoyed the winter, did considerable hunting and tramped through the woods every day. Fator is galloping his share of the horses every morning. The two-year-olds in the barn are moving along nicely and were educated at the farm before being shipped here. They were breezed over the training track today.
