STARRY DAAVN, in a forward position from the start, moved up fast on the far turn and. taking command, held the race safe in the stretch. THELMA L. acted unruly at the post and, displaying goal early speed, outlasted AINLIN in the final drive. The latter showed good early speed, but began to tire after going the first half mile.
