WHEELING TURF NOTES 8 : WHEELING, W. Va., April 12. Jockey F. Woodstock was an arrival today from Havana and will ride as . a freelance during the remainder of this meeting. .T. S. Randolphs Spurn was so badly cut down here yesterday that it was found necessary this morning to destroy him. J. J. Keith reports that Lord Marmion was decidedly lame after his race yesterday and it may be necessary to have him fired.
