. . ; t t , ; 1 3 . j FAST TRACK AT AURORA AURORA, 111., April 12. Among the latest arrivals at the local course were the horses of C. D. Pryor. C. C. Hastings and J. V. Pons, all coming from St. Johns Park, Fla. The track is in perfect shape and is faster than ever before. A corps of painters is at work brightening up the fences and buildings and with present weather conditions continuing, more active training will begin in the next few days. Most of the horses that are stabled here at the present time have either been raced at the winter tracks and are being freshened up or have been turned out all winter and are not up to any severe tests of speed. All stalls have been allotted and general manager Cliff Trimble states that all owners whose applications that have not personally been O. K.d by him will not be allowed on the grounds.
