High Foot Derby Favorite At last a pronounced choice for the Kentucky Derby. The distinction belongs to the Chicago-owned High Foot, which created a most favorable impression at New Orleans during the winter. Shortly after the Derby entries were released, the only "future1 book in the West to announce prices listed several candidates at 10 to 1, with no decided preference. Later an eastern book awarded the honor post to Gallant Fox, but now both East and West have singled out High Foot, each holding the Valley Lake Stable representative at 8 to 1. The revised western "future" book now reads as follows: HIGH FOOT 8 TO 1 Horse. Price. Horse. Price. Horse. Price.
