E F Prichard Refuses Offer of 50000 for Crack Colt Tannery LEXINGTON Ky May 5 It was learned here today that George Collins prominent Frankfort Ky thoroughbred breeder and sportsman had offered E F Prichard 50 000 for Tannery but had been refused No less than three other people wanted to get a price on the colt but they did not press the matter very far when they discovered that Tannery was not for sale saleJack Jack Baker who is training the Derby eligible for Mr Prichard intends to van twentyfive of his horses to Churchill Downs Tuesday morning and Tannery will go along with the band Trainer Baker said that the Prichard threeyearold came out of his winning race Saturday in splendid condi ¬ tion and that he did not anticipate any trouble in getting him ready for the Kentucky Derby He branded as false a report circu ¬ lated before Saturdays race that Tannery had gone lame lameTrainer Trainer Baker said he would take twenty five of the thirtythree horses which he has been training here all spring to Louisville for the Dohs meeting He reported that Lion Heart came out of his last race with a bowed tendon and had been sent to R S Clarks farm to be turned out probably until next year Five others besides Lion Heart have 1 been turned out until fall
