V GLIDELIA improved her position steadily under urging and, responding well when called upon, came* around the leaders and drew away in the final eighth. CLAREMONT set a fast early pace and, racing GREENS into defeat, tired thereafter. FRUIT JUICE, outrun to the stretch turn, went to the outside and closed ground slowlv under urging. BLATOLA showed an even performance. ONRITA came through on the inside entering the "stretch. GREENS quit badlv. CRUSHED STONE tired badly.
