f AURORA TURF NOTES t AURORA, 111., May 13. Jockey R. Jones, who has been riding in i good form at the Exposition Park meeting, has been engaged to pilot Mrs. E. Dene-marks Burning Up in the Ohio State Derby at Bainbridge Park. Registration blanks for the Washington Park meeting arrived and were distributed among the horsemen. Wander Lou cut herself while being worked this morning and was excused from Starting this afternoon. Many officials and horsemen attended the funeral of Bill Mooney, which took place in Aurora this morning. The horses of W. P. Gaines, which include Come On, winner of the Clifford R. Trimble Memorial Handicap, will be shipped to Bainbridge Park tonight. Jockey W. Day will accompany the shipment. Stuart Polk will send his useful string to Bainbridge Park tomorrow night. La Be-lotte, three-time winner at Exposition Park, and Fred Almy, consistent two-year-old, will be in the consignment. L. Fage is another jockey who will depart for Ohio. He is contract rider for S. Polk. Kukui, from the stable of Ray Pollard, bowed slightly while being worked and was excused from starting today. The horses of J. H. Edwards will be sent to Bainbridge Park tomorrow night. Lieut. Russell and Virginia Weidel were added to the schooling list this morning.
