TAKE OFF showed the most early speed, but tired when challenged in the stretch. C. EARL PAT showed tarly speed. The others were outpaced. AMERICAN THUNDER finished gamely in the stretch and, overtaking MARSHALL SETH, attempted to bear out in the last eighth and her rider was forced to use the whip to keep her in front. MARSHALL SETH set the paoe and held on fairly well. HOGANS DANCE was outrun early, but made up ground in the stretch. SHIFT began slowly and was never dangerous. ORKIN was blocked twice on the far turn. BRIDEGROOM was in close quarters on the far turn, but saved ground in the stretch and closed resolutely. THISTLE DEE also finished gamely, racing close up. CHEHALIS tired in the stretch.
