Ky., May 18.— The Churchill Downs mutuel department was called upon to handle ,374,822, exclusive of refunded wagers on Equipoise, Derby Day, and 95,-886 was bet on the Derby. The grand total was more than 00,000 less than was handled last year, and the Derby wagering dropped 7,000 below the 82,000 wagered a year ago. *
