THISTLE FYRN, restrained behind the early pace, moved up resolutely on the outside entering the stretch, withstood a drive gamely and disposed of FORTUNATE YOUTH. JACK COLLINS stumbled going to the first turn and was in close quarters and, taken to the outside on the first turn, came from behind the leaders in the stretch, then tired.
