EQUIPOISE PROGRESSES MIAMI, Fla., Jan. 14. Thomas J. Healey, who is here looking after the C. V. Whitney racers, is well pleased with the condition of Equipoise. "He looks in wonderful shape," said Healey, "and I look for him to be one of the top-notchers in the handicap division this year. I plan to ship the colt to Benning within the next few weeks, where he will be turned over to his old trainer, Freddie Hopkins, who has handled Equipoise ever since he made his maiden effort as a two-year-old at Bowie."
