HAVANA TRACK NOTES t : : : Clyde Phillips was an arrival for a lengthy stay. He stated that the Ziegler horses in winter quarters at Middleburg, Va., were doing well. Joe Clark of New York, came over from Florida and will stay for several days. G. K. Allen, who was struck by an automobile several days ago, is improving rapidly and will resume training operations shortly. Frank Munderi, who came here to ride for J. H. Patterson, returned to Aiken, S. C, to report to his contract employers, the Dorwood Stable. J. H. Pattersons Infinitive, a recent winner here, is laid up with a touch of fever. M. Dupuy, who recently arrived from New Orleans, has signed to ride for J. H. Patterson for the balance of the season. Newton Barrett, due to an infected finger, cancelled his Tuesday riding engagements. The Riverdale Stables Hedge Ray bled in his last race. Clyde Van Duseu will sell at auction the horses that he has liere the latter part of the month. After the sale Van Dusen will return to Kentucky.
