PADDOCK SALE AT MIAMI - Seventeen Hamburg Place Juveniles Bring 1,250 Top Price of ,500 for Flying Ebony Colt. c MIAMI, Fla., Jan. 25. Seventeen two-year-olds, the property of Hamburg Place, made famous by the late John B. Madden and now m being carried on by his sons, brought 1,250 on the auction block at a sale in the Hialeah Park paddock Saturday. The average per . head was ?661. Bantu, a black son of Flying Ebony Confusion by Friar Rock attracted the top price of ,500 being knocked down to O. F. Wood- . ward after a session of spirited bidding. Banty, a chestnut daughter of Dozer, from the Star Master mare, Three Stars, was next on the list, going to Mrs.. M. T. Woodward for ,600.
