HAMILTON came through on the inside throughout and, finishing gamely under punishment in the Tina! eighth, wore down PARNELL BOUND to win going away. PARNELL BOUND, away fast, set a fast early pace, disposed of LAWYEIt midway around the turn, took a clear lead entering the stretch, then tired. CALGARY KAY, outrun until entering the stretch, saved much ground by coming through on tho inside, responded gamely to urging and finished resolutely. BLACK WATCH, close to the leaders for three-sixteenths, was .compelled to pull up sharply and dropped far out of it, but came again when straightened out in the stretch. HELIOS, in close quarters at the start, recovered quickly and came through in the first sixteenth and, responding gamely under punishment, wore down WOCO and won going away. WOCO, racing straight, drew clear in the first eighth, but was no match for the winner. FLYING DRAGON, hard ridden all the wav, outlasted WHITE THORN. The latter raced green in the early stages. SIR ANTHONY suffered slisht interference, but finished resolutely. HILDUR ROCK was bumped by YONKERS FLASH at the start. SARSITA and RETICENCE were unprepared when the start came. GLENSIDE, closest to the leader throughout, challenged gamely under hard riding, but finished resolutely while tiring. BOBS PLAY, pinched back at the start, went around the leaders on the turn, improved his position, and finished fast. SAN PRESTO closed a big gap. COOTS showed speed, but was weakly ridden. THE HEATHEN, between the leaders on the back stretch, was crowded back at the half-mile post, saved ground thereafter and closed resolutely. SOUTHCO, under light restraint until the stretch turn, closed steadily when called on and was wearing the winner down in the final strides. FAIR BILLOWS, used up racing OIL QUEEN into defeat the first half mile, drew clear entering the stretch, but weakened when it came to a drive. BROADWAY LIGHTS had no excuses. OIL QUEEN quit badly. ELIZABETH FOX, under stout restraint out of the chute, assumed command at her leisure, opened up a commanding lead straightening out in the stretch and was not menaced thereafter. CIRVENNA showed good speed from the barrier and, saving ground all the way, held on stoutly in the final drive. "PRETTY PENNY gained steadily on the outside in the final three-sixteenths and was rapidly wearing down CIRVENNA at the end. DESERVE met with repeated trouble while racing along the inner rail.
